Morecambe & Morgan Wind Farm Transmission Assets – Parliamentary Petition

We had a fabulous turnout at the Parliamentary Petition signing event today outside Newton shop with over 500 people coming out to sign.

We know that some of you couldn’t make it and we will arrange other events and publicise them on our website, our noticeboards and on the village Facebook pages.

We had residents from other parishes attend today and we are actively encouraging other councils to join in the campaign. When we have details of any signing events in neighbouring areas we will share them with you.

In the meantime, a huge thankyou to you for being a strong community that cares about the impact that this project will have on us all.
